Association of police officers meets to share experiences

The Association of Former Inspectors General of Police (AFIGP) invited the 43 Common Batch of the Assistants Superintendent of Police under training at the National Police Academy, along with the teaching staff to a formal gathering in the Islamabad Club here.
The basic purpose of this get together was to share the experiences of the past and relate them to the present. The other purpose was to apprise the younger officers about the aims and objectives of AFIGP.
Former Inspectors General of Police who spoke on the occasion included Iftikhar Rashid President AFIGP, Dr. Shoaib Suddle, Kamal uddin Tipu and Kamal Shah. In response to their valuable discussions and candid exchange of views, senior ASPs responded with profuse thanks on behalf of the batch of 37 trainees and desired to continue this interaction on a regular basis.
At the end President advised them to send their recommendations to the Association through e mail and keep in touch. The proceedings ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.—APP
