Artwork by ‘Bazeecha’ inaugurates at Hunerkada

An exhibition of Artwork by “Bazeecha” inaugurated by Dr. Ma Dong, Dean of New Media Art Department XPU Xi’an Polytechnic University China here at Hunerkada on Monday. In the concluding ceremony of six-week summer art camp “Bazeecha” here at Hunkerkada, the exhibition was arranged to display the work produced by the participants of the summer camp.
Around 25 students participated in the summer art camp titled Bazeecha. Bazeecha summer camp offered six week long course in Paintings, Sculptures, Photography, Graphics, Printmaking, Ceramics , Textile Design, Theatre and Puppetry.
Speaking on the occasion, Head of Hunkerkada Amna Shah welcomed the participants, adding that Hunkerkada offers a range of highly stimulating Visual and Performing Arts activities for the enthusiastic youth in the twin cities through Hunerkada Summer School.
She said that during the 25 years of its existence, Hunerkada has endeavored to educate, inspire and train people in various disciplines. It offers a four years long Bachelors program in Arts and Design in affiliation with University of Baluchistan. Hunerkada proudly expressed a gratitude to Dr Ma Dong- Dean of Xian’s Polytechnic University New Media and Arts Department for being the Chief Guest at the inauguration ceremony of Bazeecha Art Exhibition.
The Guest of Honour Jamal Shah as renowned artist Painter, Sculptor, Actor, Director, Writer and founder of Hunerkada Pakistan also accompany Dr. Ma Dong on the occasion. This particular exhibition by Bazeecha Hunerkada was the main focus on culminating Art amongst the younger generation who are the torch bearers of art culture & heritage of futuristic Pakistan.—APP
