Ari Roland Jazz Quartet mesmerizes Isoolites

Islamabad—A thrilling performance of a US renowned group Ari Roland Jazz Quartet alongwith Pakistani musicians mesmerized a gathering at a very unique concert in the capital.
The concert was organised by the United States Embassy in partnership with the Foundation for Arts, Culture and Education at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) as part of improvement in people to people contacts between the two countries.
Ari Roland Jazz Quartet, a New York City-based four-member famous musical group, along with local classical Pakistani musicians made the very unique performance.
During their stay in Pakistan, the Ari Roland Jazz Quartet will hold public concerts, present workshops, and discuss the history of jazz in recognition of Black History Month.
Speaking on the occasion, US Ambassador David Hale said that such events would be helpful in making people to people contacts further strong.
He highlighted the importance of the concert and welcomed the audience. “The American Embassy provides over Rs 100 million annually in support of arts programming in Pakistan,” the ambassador said.—APP
