KARACHI – Veteran Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has come out strongly in defense of rising star Hania Aamir, praising her talent and professionalism while questioning the recent negative reaction from Indian audiences. In a candid vlog posted on her YouTube channel, Bushra also took aim at prominent Indian figures including lyricist Javed Akhtar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Hania Aamir, who is currently in the spotlight for her role opposite Indian Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh in the upcoming film “Sardaar Ji 3,” has faced criticism from certain segments of the Indian public. Responding to this, Bushra Ansari called the backlash unnecessary and immature.

“When Hania signed the film, everything was fine. So why this childish attitude now? Are you really threatened by a young girl?” Bushra asked, recalling similar treatment faced by actor Fawad Khan in the past.

She described Hania as a committed and hardworking actress, saying that “Hania is a true professional. Whether it’s scorching heat or freezing cold, she never compromises on her performance.”

Turning her attention to politics, Bushra alleged that the Pahalgam incident was deliberately orchestrated, implying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeks to prevent any positive cultural collaboration between India and Pakistan.

“I am convinced that the Pahalgam episode was staged intentionally, because Modi ji does not want India and Pakistan to work together on anything,” she claimed.

Bushra also criticized Javed Akhtar for his controversial remarks, questioning why Pakistan couldn’t invite legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar during cultural events:

“Perhaps we couldn’t afford her, but she has always been a legend. Such statements should not be made.”

The vlog has gone viral on social media, receiving praise for Bushra Ansari’s bold and honest commentary. Many users lauded her for standing up for young talent and speaking against political hostility.

Meanwhile, Hania Aamir, who has over 18 million Instagram followers, remains one of the most followed Pakistani celebrities across the region. She has expressed gratitude for Bushra Ansari’s support, calling the praise from such a senior figure a major highlight in her career.
