Anti-India demos, strike held across Chenab Valley

Srinagar—In occupied Kashmir, people observed shutdown and staged forceful demonstrations in different areas of Chenab Valley in Jammu region to protest against civilian killings by Indian forces in the Kashmir Valley. The Muslim population of Banihal, Ramban, Doda, Baderwah, Kishtwar, Rajouri, Poonch, Gool-Gulab Garh and other areas of the Chenab Valley observed complete shutdown and staged demonstrations to express their resentment over the killing spree unleashed by Indian forces in the Kashmir Valley and increasing incidents to communalise the situation in Chenab Valley by the RSS. All shops and business establishments remained closed. Addressing the demonstrators, the speakers said that Indian forces in Kashmir were on a killing spree and every day dozens of people including children were losing their eyesight and were being seriously wounded.—KMS
