7 terrorists killed, many injured

The security forces on Tuesday foiled yet another act of naked aggression from the neighbouring Afghanistan, third with in short span of 10 days, and mowed down at least seven terrorists in tribal district North Waziristan. Several miscreants were also wounded in swift action by the valiant troops of the Pak Army.
Reports said a group of terrorist from hostile country Afghanistan Tuesday launched attack on the border Security check post in North Waziristan with heavy ammunition though the ambush remained abortive and no loss was reported from Pakistani side. However, swift retaliation from the troops deployed on the security post left as many as seven attackers dead while three others were injured.
“Terrorists from across the border fire raided Pakistani border post in North Waziristan. Fire was effectively responded by Pakistani border post. During exchange of fire seven terrorists killed while three injured”. A few lines communiqué issued by the Inter Services Public Relations Tuesday said.
It may be recalled that hardly few days back a security forces personnel was martyred in a cross-border attack by militants from Afghanistan at a security check post situated on the Pak-Afghan border in North Waziristan. Likewise a bloody clashes between the security forces and the terrorists, infiltrated from Afghanistan and grouped in North Waziristan tribal district, on September 22 had resulted in the martyrdom of as many as seven soldiers including a captain of the Pakistan Army. The valiant troops had also mowed down nine terrorist during the Operation.
