Amjad Sabri’s family plans to leave Pakistan due to ‘security fears’

The family of slain Qawwal Amjad Sabri is trying to leave the country due to reservations over security. Azmat Sabri, while talking to a private TV channel on Monday confirmed that the family is “trying to leave Pakistan.”
“We feel we are being watched,” he said, explaining why his family is relocating. He clarified that the family has received no threats to their life. “We are trying to settle in London, we have a brother there,” he said, adding that the family “would be ready to leave on Tuesday if we got the visas.”
Earlier, Azmat Sabri had said: “We feel unsafe here now, even though we have lived here all our lives and love Liaquatabad.”
