Lahore—Provincial Minister for Labour & Human Resource Raja Ashfaq Sarwar has directed the concerned authorities to prepare a comprehensive directory comprising all details and status of developmental projects of Labour Department, Punjab Employees Social Security Institute (PESSI) and Punjab Workers Welfare Board (PWWD) for ready reference. All the secondary schools of PWWD will be up-graded to higher secondary level soon whereas labour welfare colony completed with the cost of Rs.926 million will be inaugurated next month.
He further said that up-gradation of social security hospitals and dispensaries is also under process.
He stated this while presiding over a review meeting of ongoing and completed development projects of Labour Department on Friday. Raja Ashfaq Sarwar expressed satisfaction on the pace of work regarding different development projects. He directed the concerned officers of PESSI to present a feasible plan for construction of multistory buildings for multi-purpose official use.
