All Pakistan declamation contest held

Rawalpindi—All Pakistan Urdu/English declamation contests were held under the auspices of Federal Government Educational Institution FGEI Cantonment and Garrison here at FG Public School No 2 (Boys) Tariqabad. Eminent educationist and journalist Ahmed Iqbal was chief guest on the occasion.
The topic of English declamation was ‘every cloud has a silver lining’ and of Urdu declamation ‘Ganwa di hum nay jo aslaf say meras pai thi’.
In the English declamation, Faaiz Atif from F.G Public School Boys Multan Cantt got first position, Saif Ullah from F.G Public School Mela Mandi Road Sargodha second position, and Mubasil Bin Mudsir from F.G Public School no.1 Boys T/C Bahawalpur and Awais Shakil from FG Sir Syed Public School Boys Rawalpindi third positions.
In the Urdu declamation, Hafiz Tahseen from F.G Public School Mailsi Bahwalpur Region obtained first position, Muhammad Ali Jan from F.G Public School Multan second, and Ali Raza from F.G Public School boys Adam Jee Road Rawalpindi and Ali Tanveer from FG Sir Syed Public School Boys Rawalpindi third positions.
In his speech, chief guest Ahmed Iqbal appreciated the high standard of the debates and stressed upon the students to use their inner potential for achieving the set targets and play their role for the progress of the country.
