Alert issued to tackle wrath of monsoon

Islamabad—Islamabad Capital Administration has asked departments and agencies concerned to mobilize all possible resources to combat any emergency arising out of Monsoon rains and possible flooding in Rawalpindi/Islamabad on tuesday.
In an advisory issued on Monday, it says constant vigilance is required to deal with any emergency along the banks of Rivers Swan and Korang, Radio Pakistan reported.
Three flood control centres have also been set up at Tarlai, Bharakahu and Sihala.—APP
