Airhostess arrested for gold smuggling

Lahore—An air-hostess of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) was caught smuggling gold to New York at Allama Iqbal International airport here on Tuesday. The customers officials took into custody the air-hostess after she was found smuggling two kilograms of gold. The lady was caught red-handed during New York bound flight PK-721. The officials said she was currently being investigated. Further details will be released soon.
Couple of years ago, London immigration officials had imposed a fine of 2,000 pounds on Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) for allowing air-hostess into plane with an expired passport. —INP
