Afghan with Pakistani CNIC arrested

Peshawar—The police arrested an Afghan national and recovered Pakistan Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) from his custody here on Friday.
The police on a tip-off conducted operation at Cinema Road in the provincial capital Peshawar during which an Afghan citizen was held with CNIC issued by NADRA.
Police said that the nabbed foreigner has been doing leather business in Peshawar and other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) for about last 25 years.
A case has been registered against the detainee at the respective police station and investigation was in progress. Meanwhile, it is reported that Bannu Police on Friday arrested two terrorists in separate operations in Bannu and Hangu.
According to details, the police arrested an alleged Afghan terrorist from Hangu’s Mamu Banda area during the raid whcih was conducted on a tip-off at the residence of Afghan national Ameen Jan.
Police also recovered two kalashnikovs, three rifles, four hand-grenades, two 7mm rifles, various types of 500 cartridges, one pistol and four daggers.
