Advisor monitors dengue surveillance teams; reviews patients’ treatment

Lahore—Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on Health Khawaja Salman Raffique spent two days of Eid ul Fitr holidays in official engagements. On the first day, the advisor visited Miani Sahab graveyard along with DCO Lahore Capt.(R). Muhammad Usman to monitor the dengue surveillance teams. Khawaja Salman Raffique checked dengue surveillance teams busy in their activities in the graveyard.
He appreciated the officials for their dedication with their duties despite of Eid holidays. Khawaja Salman Raffique also visited Child Protection Bureau along with Federal Minister Pakistan Railways, Khawaja Saad Raffique. They met the children in the bureau and extended Eid greetings to the children.
Meanwhile, the 2nd day of Eid, Advisor on Health Khawaja Salman Raffique visited Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Ferozwala. He reviewed the arrangements of medical treatment and provision of free medicine to the patients. He inquired after the health of indoor patients.
He also viewed the cleanliness condition in the hospital’s premises and expressed his satisfaction over the situation. DCO Sheikhupura Tariq Arqam, Assistant Commissioner Rana Shakeel, Deputy District Officer (Health) Dr. Adil and MS Dr. Shahid were also present.
Later, Khawaja Salman Raffique visited Imamia Colony area and checked the dengue surveillance teams. Khawaja Salman Raffique lauded the efforts of the members of dengue surveillance teams and patted them. DCO Sheikhupura and the officers of Health Department were also accompanied the advisor.
