Accused awarded 12-year imprisonment in human trafficking case

A special court central of Islamabad Friday awarded twelve years imprisonment to an accused Shafqat Hussain involved in crime of human trafficking. Special Judge Central, Malik Nazir announced the judgement against the accused as he found guilty during the trial.
The court also imposed fine worth Rs. 0.2 million on the accused Shafqat Hussain. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) informed the court that the accused had been involved in minting money from blind woman by offering her to send abroad for treatment. The FIA also produced the relevant record and evidence before the court.
