Aali Kadal martyrs paid rich tributes

Srinagar—The Chairman of Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik has paid rich tributes to prominent liberation leader, Sheikh Abdul Hameed, and other martyrs of Aali Kadal.
Muhammad Yasin Malik addressing a condolence-cum prayer meeting today at party’s headquarters in Srinagar said that Sheikh Abdul Hameed Shaheed and his companions embraced martyrdom and spilled their sacred blood into the waters of Jhelum, turned it red and thus wrote a new chapter of sacrifices and struggle. He reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ resolve to take their martyrs’ mission to its logical end.
Remembering his childhood friend, Sheikh Abdul Hameed, the JKLF Chairman said that the martyred leader was a great friend and companion who always stood in front and endured every difficulty and hardship came in his way with a smile on his face. Recalling the sacrifices and struggle of late Ghulam Nabi Butt, who was the younger brother of Shaheed Muhammad Maqbool Butt, the JKLF Chief said that he belonged to a family that knew only struggle and sacrifices and till his last breath stood for the freedom of Kashmiri people.—KMS
