6 killed in fresh wave of violence

Karachi—Despite anti-criminal operations being carried out by police and Rangers in Karachi, a fresh wave of violence claimed six lives on Friday.
According to reports, six incidents of murders were reported in the city just within a span of six hours.
Police said dead bodies of five people, including two women, were recovered while a man was reportedly killed in quarrel. A body was recovered from a nullah in Majeed Colony of Landhi. Body of a woman was recovered from a house in Landhi’s Future Colony. Another woman was found murdered in mysterious circumstances in Landhi. Two bodies were found in Orangi and Maripur neighborhoods. Police said a man was killed during clash between fishermen in a boat in the open sea. —INP
