Rawalpindi—At least six youth, who were playing snooker, were injured as a dilapidated building collapsed in Pirwadhi area here Sunday.
Rescue 1122 personnel retrieved the six injured youth from the debris and shifted them to District Headquarter Hospital.
According to Rescue 1122 official Farooq Butt, the rescuers were still busy in removing the debris as it was feared that more persons might be buried beneath it.
He said the recent rains could be the reason for the collapse of the building which was in dilapidated condition.
The rescued injured were identified as Bahrooz Khan (20), Shakir (30), Majid (22), Arshad Khan (35), M Javed (30) and Sabih Ullah (25).
