513,000 tonnes of palm oil imported from Malaysia


Islamabad—Pakistan imported about 513,000 tonnes of palm oil from Malaysia during the period of Jan-Aug 2016.
It added that Another Malaysia’s palm oil product, the Minyak Cooking Oil made its way into the local Pakistan market, said a press release issued here on Friday by Malaysian Palm Oil Board.
Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi, Ismail Mohamad Bkri stated that the consulate would continue to support and facilitate any efforts to expand the presence of Malaysia products in Pakistan during product launching ceremony of Minyak Cooking Oil.
He added that there were always room for improvement and strengthening of existing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries of Malaysia and Pakistan, especially in trade.
Therefore, Ismail appreciated cooperation and support from Agha Supermarket which sold Minyak cooking oil and few other Malaysian products in their outlet.
The Minyak Cooking Oil is produced and packed in Malaysia.
Minyak’s presence in the local market provides more and better choice to the consumer to select a high quality, safe and nutritious cooking oil.
Consumers can be assured of the highest quality of Malaysian palm oil as stringent regulations and requirements were imposed on palm oil industry in Malaysia to produce high quality products.—APP
