Karachi—The Sindh Rangers arrested seven accused including target killer and drug peddlers besides recovering arms and drugs from their possession here on Monday.
Spokesman of Sindh Rangers said that the paramilitary troops conducted operations against the outlaws in Korangi and New Karachi. He said that during separate actions the Rangers personnel apprehended seven culprits including a target killers and six drugs sellers besides recovering arms and huge quantity of drugs from the possession. Police crackdown against criminal elements also continued in Karachi as 28 suspects, including five accused, were taken into custody during police search operation in different parts of the city on Sunday night.
According to details, police carried out a search operation in Rizvia area of Karachi and apprehended two accused. Police sources said that the arrested persons were wanted in several cases of street crimes.
Police also conducted an operation against drug peddlers in PIB Colony and arrested 12 drug addicts. Police also carried out a search operation in hotels around Cantt Railway Station and arrested 11 suspects. The arrested persons were shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
