3000 J&K students enrolled in Bangladesh

Srinagar—More than three thousand students from the Jammu and Kashmir state are pursuing their studies in medical and other related streams in Bangladesh.
This was informed by Minister (Press) in Bangladesh High Commission in India, Enamul Hoque Chowdhury, who called on the Minister for Health & Medical Education, Bali Bhagat at his official residence here today and discussed several important issues related to the health and medical education in Jammu and Kashmir and that of Bangladesh.
Chowdhury, who is on a two-day official visit to J&K, apprised the Health Minister that Jammu and Kashmir is very important for the Bangladesh as far as Health & Medical Education sector is concerned as more than three thousand students from the State are pursuing their studies in medical and other related streams.—KR
