Crackdown against criminal elements under National Action Plan (NAP) continues in Karachi as police arrested at least 30 persons during search operations in different parts of the city on late Monday night.
According to sources, the law enforcers conducted a search operation in Pirabad’s Kunwari Colony area late Monday night and apprehended 23 suspects. Officials said they were verifying identities of the arrested suspects and looking for any criminal record.
In another raid in Saddar’s Frere area, police arrested four street criminals. Officials seized arms, two motorcycles and mobile phones from arrested men.
The suspects have reportedly confessed to involvement in around 40 muggings.
