Police have arrested 30 lawbreakers including 11 Punjab Renting Rules violators besides recovering 1600 grams charras, 42 liter wine and LPG refilling equipment from their possession.
According to Rawalpindi Police spokesman, Rawat police held Talib Hussain for having 250 grams charras.
Kalar Syedan police arrested Muhammad Hafeez with 1350 grams charras. Waris Khan police netted Jamil Munir on recovery of 10 liter wine. Civil Line police nabbed Waqas for carrying five liter wine.
Taxila police also recovered 20 liters wine from the possession of Muhammad Shafiq and Muhammad Naeem. Rawat police held Shoukat Mahmood with 10 liter wine.
Pirwadhai police apprehended Umar Shahzad, Waris Khan police arrested Muhammad Amir, Bani police netted Yousaf Khan and Gujar Khan police held Tahir Mahmood and Mohsin Mahmood who were allegedly involved in LPG decanting and running illegal petrol agencies. Meanwhile, Pirwadhai police rounded up Malik Ilyas and Mumtaz Amjad, Waris Khan police arrested Mazhar Siraj, Muhammad Umair, Asad Ali, Imran Khan, Hamza Mizari, Faisal Shahzad, Asfand Munir, Yasir Arafat and Mohsin Abbas who were Punjab Information of Temporary Residence Ordinance violators and did not pass on the required particulars to the police.—APP
