3 killed in cricket match brawl

Three persons were shot dead on Sunday after an argument that erupted during children’s cricket match in Dag Behsood area, of District Nowshera.
According to the Nowshera Police control, children were playing cricket when the players indulged into a brawl over a trivial disagreement in Dag Behsood area. However, the adults intervened and sought revenge.
One of the parties attacked the house of the opponent and opened fire which injured two brothers and a minor girl who was passing by the area. The three were shifted to Mian Rashid Hussain Shaheed Memorial hospital, District Nowshera where all of the three succumbed to their injuries.
The bodies were handed over to the relatives after post-mortem. Police has started search operation to nab culprits.
Sargodha: Two women were killed while seven others including four children sustained injuries in different road incidents in Bhera police limits on Sunday.
Police sources said that Muhammad Nawaz, resident of Bhera along with his wife Razzia and child Safdar, was going on a motorcycle when a tractor trolley hit the bike near Sabzi Mandi. As a result, his wife died on the spot while he and his son got injured.
In another incident, in result of collision between car and bus near service area Bhera, a woman Ghulam Bano died while another woman Khatoon Bibi and four children got injured. The injured were shifted to the THQ hospital.—APP
