23rd March: A day to renew commitment to strive for prosperity

Hafizabad—Parliamentary Secretary, Food, Punjab, Chaudhary Assadullah Arain has said that 23rd March is the day to resolve for striving to prosperity, progress of the country and to pledge that we would not hesitate to render sacrifices for integrity of this country.
While addressing a function held in Jinnah hall to celebrate Independence Day, he said that this homeland, which is fruit of everlasting sacrifices of our forefathers, is demanding to perform our obligations to above our vested interest.
MPA Malik Fayyaz Ahmad Awan, DCO Muhammad Ahmad Rajwana, DPO Muhammad Haroon Joia, Principal Govt. College Muhammad Ayub Tahir, ADC Nauman Hafeez, EDO Education Ifthikhar Nawaz Virk, Chairman Press Club Imtiaz Ahmad Taj, President DPA Muhammad Rarooque Khokhar, students and teachers attended the function.
Assadullah Arain said that today we all as a nation has to resolve that we would make Pakistan a great state of the world to promote interfaith harmony among people belongs to different school of thought to shun our pity differences.
DCO and DPO said on the occasion that students are assets of our future and they should focus on their study to make themselves responsible citizens of the country and to utilize their all potential for making the country a brightening and peaceful country. They stressed the need of performing our responsibilities to protect our National and Islamic values and to make the country a real Islamic Welfare State to forge unity among our ranks.
Professor Muhammad Ayub Tahir said in his speech that teachers always play vital role in rise and fall of nations and character building of students to make a loyal Pakistani and true Muslim is prime responsibility of teachers and parents.
He called upon teachers to focus on character building of students to make them a responsible, patriot citizen and true Muslim. He also said that in the history of the world, the Pakistan is second Islamic state established on the basis of religion in the history of the world after The State of Madina and blessings of Islamic system would appear in the Pakistan soon.
He further said that the best way to pay tribute to sacrifices of our forefathers is loyalty with the country and to foil all conspiracies designed by anti-Pakistan elements. Students expressed their love with the country to perform national songs and speeches.
Prizes and certificates were distributed among position holders students of Khadim-e-Punjab literary programme. Functions were also arranged in educational institutions, social, literary, business, religious organizations in city Hafizabad, Pindi Bhattian, Sukheki, Jalalpur Bhattian and Venike Tarar to celebrate the day. Meanwhile, special prayers were offered after Fajir prayers in masques for progress, prosperity and integrality of the country and Qurani Khawani was held for martyred of Pakistan Movement.
