Director PSB retires

Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Junaid Khan held reception for the Director Sports Pakistan Sports Board Coaching Center Mumtaz Ahmad Nadeem who retired after serving the Pakistan Sports Board for 33 long years.
The reception was also attended by former Sports Minister and President KP Olympic Association Syed Aqil Shah, President PSB Coaching Center Employees Union Nisar Khan, Director Sports merger district Nawaz Ahmad Khan, Sports Officer Ayub Khan, Director Female Games of the merger District Nazia Zaki, Deputy Director Youth Aziz Ullah Khan, Manager Finance Tariq Khan, Secretary merger Districts Volleyball Association Khurshid Khan Mohmand, In-Charge KP Archery Academy Sara Khan, Assistant Director Sports KP Syed Jaffar Shah, Director Operation Directorate of Sports KP Syed Saqlain Shah, President Sports Writers Association Ijaz Ahmad Khan Daudzai, Secretary KP Olympic Association Zulfiqar Butt, players, staff of PSB Coaching Center and Directorate of Sports KP were also present. Speaking on this occasion, Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Junaid Khan paid rich tribute to Mumtaz Ahmad Nadeem for his valuable services he rendered for the promotion of sports in Pakistan in general and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in particular.
He said Mumtaz Ahmad Nadeem served the players in different categories besides playing a key role as an administrator at the Pakistan Sports Board and managed various contingent of Pakistan for different international sporting events including Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Winter Olympics, Summer Olympics and dozens of international outings of Pakistan. Mumtaz Ahmad Nadeem joined PSB as Assistant in way back May 1986 and after serving 33 long years retired on Friday on March 15, 2019. He posted in PSB Coaching Center as Director Sports on January 5, 2016.—APP
