Provincial Minister of Punjab for Higher Education Raja Yasir Humayun Sarfraz and Chief Minister Usman Buzdar’s Spokesman Dr Shehbaz Gul on Thursday rejected speculations on the media that a clean chit was given to Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif with regard to his alleged corruption in laptop scheme.
During a joint press conference in Lahore, they asserted that the HEC is not designed to conduct investigations, and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has been probing the matter.
