PSL matches would be held in Hyderabad next year: Wahab

Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Information, Law & Anti-Corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that international cricket event was being successfully held in Karachi where international players had been enthralled with traditional cultural heritage of Sindh, adding that next year PSL matches would be held in Hyderabad and for the purpose, the Sindh government had assured to provide all required facilities.
Talking to media persons at Sindh Assembly’s media corner on Wednesday, he slammed the Federal Government for inflation and price hike and said that gas prices had been raised by 143 percent and electricity rates had been raised at the rate of Rs. 2.70 per unit. He said that price hike had broken five years’ records.
He said that the Federal Government had promised to provide 1 crore jobs and 5 million homes but it miserably failed to provide even a single job and allot even a single home to any person in the last 7 months.
He added that Imran Khan has only provided jobs to his own friends and appointed his near and dear ones as his advisor.
The circular debt, he said, had soared up to Rs. 1.6 trillion and furthermore 400 development projects had been shelved by the PTI government.
He said that callous government has snatched treatment facility from people and increased the prices of medicines adding that no government has taken such cruel measure in the past. According to Advisor, Sindh contributes major share in gas productions, but home based consumers and industries were facing gas shortage.
Barrister Murtaza Wahab said, “Sindh is not provided water as per accord,To a question, the Advisor contradicted the news being circulated on social media and added that Sindh government immediately has taken notice of news item telecast on TV channels regarding a girl named Shumaila belonging to Pano Aqil and matter has been resolved. ‘He said that police have recovered the girl and arrested persons involved in the incident. He said that Sindh government was in constant touch with district administration.
