2000 Kikar trees to be sowed at Hill Park

The people of Karachi including children and Senior citizens will take their volunteers participation role in sowing 2000 Kikar trees for greening Karachi to kick-start their first initiative here on Sunday at Hill Park Karachi.
A large number of citizens including women, men, youngsters, students will sow Kikar trees at Hill Park Karachi provided by renowned personality Tofique Pasha.
Residents of Karachi will sow these Kikar trees at Hill Park and started Plantation campaign throughout in the metropolis.
It is observed that by the passing of time the numbers of trees in the city has been reducing comparatively other cities unfortunately, the most harmful and alarming activities are the chopping of trees is increasing day by day in the city.
During last 3 years, a number of citizens were died due to this drastically changed of weather and suffer from different types of diseases, especially heat strokes. A campaign for plantation has been initiated so that the citizens have to contribute to control the scorching heat weather. planting 2,000 Kikar trees may help in reducing harsh weather. These trees will help to increase greenery in the Karachi.
