180 litres liquor, 4000 bottles recovered

Islamabad Sabzi Mandi police have raided at a factory in its jurisdiction and recovered 180 liter wine, seven cans, 4000 empty bottles and brewing items from them, a police spokesman said.
On a tip off, SP (Industrial Area) Muhammad Hassan Iqbal assigned task to ASP Hassam Bin Ashraf to raid at a factory where huge cache of liquor may be found. Following this task, a special team including SHO Sabzi Mandi Inspector Asjad Mehmud, ASIs Muhammad Rasheed, Muhammad Adeel and other was constituted under his supervision.
This team raided at plot number 607, Service Road sector I- 10/3 and arrested one accused Zahid besides recovering 180 line wine, seven cans, 4000 empty bottles, brewing items and one bike from there.
Another special team has been constituted to ensure arrest of others involved in the business of supplying liquor in various areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective crackdown against those involved in selling wine or narcotics.—APP
