154 including 54 Afghans held under NAP

In Quetta, police have arrested ten Afghan nationals under foreign act from different areas of provincial capital on Monday. According to police sources, these Afghan nationals were apprehended without traveling documents during search operation in different areas by police team.
They would be handed over to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further interrogation after completing initial inquiry.
In Sialkot during a search operation against illegal foreigners, police on Monday arrested seven Afghan nationals, residing in Pakistan illegally. Ugoki police raided Sablime Chowk and arrested five Afghans identified as Zalmi Khan, Agha Khan, Yunus Khan, Painda Khan and Ahmed Shah, who failed to produce any legal documents.
Meanwhile, Head Marala police arrested two Afghan nationals – Abdul Qadir and Sher Khan – from Gondal. Police have registered cases against them under the Foreign Act.
In Khushab police on Monday arrested 15 suspected persons from Behl (district Khushab) police limits under the Nation Action plan. Police sources said that DSP Saddar, Khushab Asadullah Khan along with law enforcement agencies conducted raids at different places of Behl police limits and arrested two Afghanis including Muqeem Fareed Khan and Khan Muhammad s/o Baghoon Khan illegally residing there.
The police also arrested 13 other suspects including Muhammad Sadiq s/o Muhammad Ali,Liaqat Ali s/o Nazr Hussain, Muhammad Arshad s/o Muhammad Yaqoob,Allah Ditta s/o Muhammad Yaqoob, Jumma Khan s/o Rasool Khan and others. Police have registered separate cases against all the 15 suspects and launched investigation.
Ii District Nawabshah Police launched massive action against Afghanis staying illegally in the district and claimed the arrest of 37 Afghanis so far.
Deputy Superintendent Police City Mubeen Ahmed Parhiar told that security measures were tightened after the incident of Sehwan Blast and crackdown was launched against Afghanis staying in District Shaheed Benazirabad.
He said that 20 Afganis were taken into custody in raids conducted in different parts of the city while 17 others were nabbed from other parts of the district. After thorough investigation it was learnt that non of the nabbed Afghanis have valid traveling documents, he said adding that unlawful non citizen residents were booked under the relevant laws and sent to jail.
In Faisalabad police arrested 85 alleged criminals including 69 proclaimed offenders from different parts of Faisalabad during the past 12 hours. Police spokesman Amir Waheed said here Monday that the police also recovered 08 pistols, one gun, one rifle and 246 litre liquor from their possession.
