148 poor families issued Khidmat Cards

Attock—State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad has said that Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif is taking revolutionary steps for the uplift of the oppressed children of the society specially those working at brick kilns across the Punjab.
He said this while addressing a gathering in Jinnah Hall Attock where Khidmat Cards were given to 148 families (working at brick kilns). On the occasion DCO Attock Rana Akbar Hayat, District Monitoring Officer Muhammad Farooq Akmal, AC Syed Nazarat Ali, EDO (Edu) Khalid Mehmood, DOC Akbar Hayat and other officers were also present. State Minister said that Punjab govt is makung all out efforts to eradicate child labour and for the first time in the history of the country the children of the brick kiln workers have been admitted in govt schools. He said, Khidmat Cards have been given to those brick kiln workers who admitted their children in schools.
