After long political debates, Pakistan Super league (PSL) has finally been played in Gaddafi stadium, Lahore. But the irresponsible comments of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan about the international players who attended the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Lahore were shocking and fateful. Instead of welcome to international players Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan started criticizing PSL foreign cricketers and called them ‘Phateechar’ and termed them as unknown cricketers, “picked up from Africa”.
IK doesn’t think for his country interests and gives preference to his own political interests. At the same time in Gaddafi Stadium IK fans also chanted slogans against Nawaz government which also delivered wicked impression to the rest of the world. International media which include BBC and CNN covered the event and highlighted positivity. PSL conveyed the message of peace, progress and prosperity to the whole world and it proved that Pakistan can provide protection to the domestic matches as well as international ones. So, Imran Khan must stop these kinds of statement for the sake of country’s interests as well as for his own interest. If he does not stop issuing such immature statements, he faces a distant possibility to win the next election.
