World urged to raise voice against Indian atrocities


Srinagar—In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders, Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and Ghulam Nabi have hailed the protests led by International Forum for Justice representative Mushtaq-ul-Islam during the present intifada.
The Hurriyet leaders in their joint statement said that the world bodies and other representatives should follow the trend and protest against the atrocities being committed on people of Kashmir by Indian forces. They said they are grateful to the people like Mushtaq-ul-Islam who came on roads to address the sufferings of the people of Kashmir.
They said dynamics of international politics and diplomacy should be understood and steps should be taken to settle Kashmir dispute in its historical perspective and keeping in view the sentiments of the people of Kashmir. “India cannot defeat the resolve of freedom fighters as our youth are offering huge sacrifices,” they added.—KMS
