Sana Samad

In the last few years, waterborne diseases have caused countless deaths in Balochistan. Drinking water is contaminated with Coliforms, toxic metals and pesticides in parts of Balochistan. The improper disposal of municipal and industrial effluents and excessive application of agro-chemicals in agriculture are the main factors of water pollution in the province. It is estimated that 90 percent of the population is forced to drink polluted water. The polluted water is causing some dangerous diseases including diarrhea, gestroemtents, typhoid, hepatitis and infant deaths. I request the provincial government to provide the populace of Balochistan access to potable water.
