Use of modern technology stressed

Sukkur—Renowned educationist, Erum Bhutti has called for the use of modern technology in evaluation of students ability instead of traditional manual system.
Talking to APP on Satyurday, she said that only the changing of the exam pattern was not enough instead, standardization of text books and provision of quality training to teachers were also essential for the improvement of education system.
“It is strange that every education board prepares own paper different from other boards while in the developed countries, the papers are the same for entire country,” she said.
She said that the existing examination system was 200 years old and had lost its importance and failed to evaluate students ability.—APP
