Islamabad—Rain and thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Kashmir and its adjoining areas in next 24 hours while hot and dry weather to prevail elsewhere in the country.
Weak seasonal low lies over north Balochistan and its adjoining areas. A shallow westerly wave is still affecting Kashmir and its adjoining areas, an official of Met office told APP.
In last 24 hours dust-thunderstorm/rain occurred at scattered places in D.I Khan, Malakand, Peshawar divisions, upper Punjab, FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Weather remained hot and dry elsewhere in the country.
Rainfall recorded during this time span remained KP: D.I Khan 40mm, Lower Dir 29mm, Parachinar 17mm, Pattan 12mm, Malamjabba, Saidu Sharif 05mm, Kohat 04mm, Cherat, Dir 03mm, Peshawar 02mm, Punjab: Jhelum 10mm, Faisalabad 03mm, Mandibahauddin 02mm, Noorpurthal, Kamra 01mm.
