Teaching of Sindhi language in pvt schools to be ensured: Jam Mehtab

Karachi—Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar on Tuesday said that a meeting with the management of private schools will be convened soon to ensure that Sindhi language to be taught in private schools from Class three.
In this regard, he said that the Director General Private Institutions has issued a notification.
He said this while presiding over a meeting here in his office, said a statement.
Director General Colleges Dr Nasir Ansar and Director General Private Institutions Dr Mansoob Siddiqui also attended the meeting.
The Minister said the education department would make all out efforts that Sindhi language should be taught in private schools. He also asked the management of private schools to cooperate with the government.
Jam Mehtab directed the DG Colleges to speed up the furniture supply to the colleges.He added that where there was a shortage of the furniture, it should be meted out.
He also asked him to submit the list of the colleges with enrolment where the furniture was being supplied and the transparency must be maintained.
The Minister further directed the DG colleges to increase enrolment in evening shift colleges and also ensure the attendance of the teachers.
He said that he would take strict action if he found any maladministration in the supply of the furniture.
