Stern warning

117

Pakistan has quite rightly and appropriately warned India against its repeated threats of carrying out “surgical strikes” across the LoC in the disputed region of J&K and very strongly told that Pakistan will effectively respond to any aggression. According to the reports in the newspapers, the stern warning has been given by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dr Maleeha Lodhi while participating in a debate on the annual report of the world body’s Secretary General on the work of the organization in New York the other day.
She emphatically told India to refrain from underestimating Pakistan’s resolve and capacity to defend itself and that any mischief will obviously meet a matching, effective and befitting response from Pakistan.
It is a matter of bitter record that India is almost daily resorting to violation of the ceasefire along the LoC obviously to cover up its heinous crimes against the Kashmiris and thus trying to divert the world attention from its forced occupation. India’s false claims of what it calls surgical strike across the LoC and aggressive threats are flagrant violation of the UN Charter against the use or threat of use of force.
Needless to mention that India is a very big country, very big democracy and also committing the greatest human rights violations and oppression against the unarmed Kashmiris struggling for their fundamental right of self-determination. It is rather not comprehensible at all as to why the international community is criminally witnessing all these crimes of India against humanity silently.
