SMEDA holds workshop for women entrepreneurs in Swat


Peshawar—Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) through its Women Business Development Centre (WBDC) Swat project organized a one-day workshop on “Women Business Need Assessment” in Swat.
Deputy General Manager (DGM), Women Entrepreneurship Development, SMEDA; Tania Buttar was chief guest on the occasion and conducted the workshop. The upcoming and present women entrepreneurs and Women chamber members attended the workshop at large.
During the workshop, DGM, SMEDA, Tania Buttar briefed the participants in detail regarding the outreach activities and facilitation available with SMEDA for women entrepreneurs. She also shared the functions of SMEDA, pre-feasibilities and business tips.
She also urged the participants of the workshop to come out of the traditional businesses and work in new avenues and offered full cooperation to women entrepreneurs in this regard.
Speaking on the occasion, several Women Entrepreneurs appreciated the role of WBDC Swat in the promotion of women entrepreneurship in the region.
Manager SMEDA, Rashid Aman, who is the Project Director of WBDC Swat also addressed the participants and shared his experiences with them.—APP
