Share happiness of Eid-ul-Azha

Asim Khalid

Eid-ul-Azha is a special day for all Muslims around the world. The day calls for total submission to the will of the Creator, as shown by Hazrat Ibrahim. It is the time to forego ones personal ego and forgive and also forget the wrongs of other fellow humans for the sake of the traditions set out by the Prophets of Allah.
This day also tells us to care and assist poor people who can’t afford the expenses of Eid. But, unfortunately, we have lost the actual purpose of Eid-ul-Azha since people can be seen catering for their own interests. They have forgotten to visit their neighbours and to see whether their children have clothes, shoes or not? They just think for their own children, but the day suggests us to help and care your relatives and neighbours who really have no happiness due to their poverty. I hope, in future, you would all spend this day with needy people who need a share from your happiness and you certainly share too.
