SFPR concerned over incresing population


Islamabad—Senate Forum for Policy Research (SFPR) on Monday expressed serious concern over increasing population as it was affected the country’s economy and causing forest depletion. The Forum, which met here at Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) with former Senate Chairman Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari in the chair, gave detailed consideration to its work plan and prioritized different areas for discussion including population, deforestation and legislation.—APP
