RDA seals seven shops constructed illegally in Dhamial area

Rawalpindi—Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has conducted operation against illegal commercial activities in residential areas in Dhamial area and sealed seven shops constructed illegally.
According to RDA spokesman, the enforcement team with the help of police under the supervision of Superintendent, Syed Muhammad Aslam, Enforcement Department Incharge Rana Tariq Javed Khan and inspectors conducted operation on the directives of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division/Director General (DG) RDA Azmat Mahmud and took action against illegal commercial activities in residential areas in Dhamial area.
The spokesman warned the citizens not to violate the rules otherwise strict action in accordance with the law would be taken against the violators.
RDA’s building control department is also regularly conducting operations against illegal and unauthorized commercial and residential constructions and encroachments in the city, he added.—APP
