Rawalpindi—Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif called the Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah for farewell discussion on Saturday night.
“Pakistan Chief of Army Staff Raheel Sharif made a phone call to Chief Executive Abdullah as a farewell discussion last night,” the Office of the Chief Executive said in a Twitter post.
Meanwhile, General Raheel Sharif Sunday visited his native town of Kunjah and inaugurated the newly-built Shabbir Sharif Hospital for the residents of the area.
According to Inter Services Public Relations, notables of the area were present on the occasion.
The COAS also took round of various departments of the hospital. He met the under-treatment patients, inquired after their health and prayed for their early recovery.
