PTI chief won’t be allowed to disrupt govt: Pervaiz


Mardan—Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says the government will not let PTI Chief Imran Khan to disrupt the government’s agenda of peace and development in the country. Addressing a PML-N public meeting in Mardan on Sunday, he said people want improvement in their living standard, and the government is determined to ensure it by eliminating terrorism and implementing mega infrastructure and energy projects. The Information Minister said Imran Khan failed in his Raiwind protest march, and again on October 30, he will fail in his design to shut down Islamabad. Pervaiz Rashid said PML-N believes in the politics of construction, and the party will win the general elections in 2018 on the basis of its performance. Addressing the gathering, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will benefit the most from China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. He said the federal government has approved more than one hundred projects for KP during the last two years. He said Operation Zarb-e-Azb has brought peace to the country, and the world is today describing Pakistan heaven for investment. Prime Minister’s Advisor Amir Muqam and PML-N leader Pir Sabir Shah also addressed the public meeting. Earlier, KP MPA Jamshed Khan, who belonged to PTI, announced to join PML-N. Meanwhile, the PTI has appealed for donations ahead of the march to Islamabad.—NNI
