Prices of fruit, vegetables remain stable

Islamabad—The prices of fruits and vegetables overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items in the Federal Capital. According to the Islamabad Market Committee price list issued here Monday, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major difference from the price list of the previous week.

Potato (Sweet) Rs30, Onion Rs35, Tomato 46, Ginger Rs98, Garlic (China) Rs275, Garlic Local 260, Lady Finger Rs65, Green Zucchini Rs86, Pumpkin Rs60, Brinjal Rs45, Peas Rs150, Farsh Bean Rs65, Tinda (Walaiti) Rs72, Cucumber Rs46, Cucumber (Farm) Rs66, Capsicum Rs125/80, Green Chilli Rs76, Cauliflower Rs57/40, Cabbage Rs30, Bitter Gourd Rs78, Spinach Rs18/14, Radish Rs34, Turnip Rs44, Yam Rs66, Maroo Rs65, Carrot Rs95, Chicken Rs137 and Egg per dozen Rs91. Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple kala kalo Rs128/80, Apple Gaja Rs112/75, Apple Golden Rs88/55, Banana Pak Rs78/45, Pear China Rs165/130, Grapes Sunder Khani Rs180/135, Grapes Gola Rs105/90, Guava 80/60, Metha Rs135/100, Malok Rs65/50, Mango Nawabpuri Rs145/130.
