Prayers meeting held for GM Bulla

Srinagar—In occupied Kashmir, a prayers session was held in Sopore for the departed soul of Kashmiri freedom leader, Ghulam Muhammad Bulla on his 41st martyrdom anniversary.
Addressing on the occasion Hurriyet leader Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori paid glowing tributes to the deceased leader. Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori said he was part of the February 1975 protest at Sopore Chowk against 1975 Indra-Abdullah Accord, adding that he was injured in police action, while Bulla was arrested during the protest. Ghulam Muhammad Bulla, he added, was subjected to severe torture by jail authorities led by DSP Banday, and the injuries led to his martyrdom in custody.
He said that Kashmiris would continue his mission till complete freedom from Indian bondage. A large number of people participated in the prayers meeting. Ghulam Muhammad Bulla was tortured to death by Indian police on the night of 15th February in 1975 for challenging the 1975 Indra-Abdullah Accord.—KMS
