Police arrest 22 law-breakers


Rawalpindi—Police under its ongoing drive against anti-social elements have arrested 22 law-breakers including two renting rules violators besides recovering 3820 grams charras, 70 liter wine, five bottles of liquor and five pistols 30 bore with 20 rounds from their possession. According to Rawalpindi police spokesman, Pirwadhai police held Asif for having five bottles of liquor. Waris Khan police netted Abdul Rasheed and recovered 15 liter wine and Race Course police seized 20 liter wine and arrested Zaki and Saleem Masih while Civil Line police apprehended Naseem Ilyas with 20 liter wine.
Jatli police arrested Imran Shabir with 1450 grams charras. Rawat police recovered 1250 grams charras from Shamayal Khan.
Kalar Syedan police rounded up Mazhar Iqbal for carrying an illegal 30 bore with and four rounds while another pistol and five rounds were recovered from Shahid Hussain.
Pirwadhai police conducted a raid and nabbed Jahangir Khan who was allegedly involved in betting on cricket matches. Police recovered cash Rs 8500 and other items.—APP
