Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture Rana Muhammad Arshad on Tuesday said that Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was making sincere efforts to upgrade education and health sectors in the province.
Talking to a delegation of media representatives at the Punjab Assembly, he said that education was vital for progress of any country, adding that media had a very important role to play in the promotion of education in Pakistan.
He said the media could play the role of opposition in highlighting real issues pertaining to various sectors.
The PML-N government, he said, under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was fully committed to provide quality education to every citizen for the sake of human development and prosperity of the country.
He said, the Punjab government was working to launch a mega project of Knowledge Park where sub campuses of world’s renowned universities would be established.
The parliamentary secretary slammed opposition especially the PTI for creating impediments in the way of development projects initiated by the present government. He said that masses were knowing well the performance of the incumbent government and would re-elect the PML-N in the next general election.
