PML-N not to hinder PTI’s Raiwind march

Lahore—Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan met Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif twice in the last 24 hours.
Both leaders discussed situations pertaining to Raiwind March in the meeting. Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique was also present at the moment.
It was decided in the meeting that government would not obstruct Raiwind March at all and that no PML-N office would be open on that day.
Meanwhile, the workers of PML-N have also been directed not to take part in kind of counter-agitation exercise.
The leaders also agreed that no compromise on law and order situation would be made and PTI rally should not be obstructed in any case.
The two senior PML-N leaders also decided that party workers should not retaliate in case of incitement.
According to sources of a private TV channel during the meeting the party leaders agreed that miscreants would be strictly dealt with, adding that PML-N workers have been strictly forbidden to react.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan had announced the date of Raiwind protests march to be Sept 30, asking party workers to make preparations from September 25.
PML-N workers strongly protested against the announcement, holding gatherings, with workers brandishing sticks, eggs and tomatoes to dispel PTI workers from approaching Raiwind.
