Islamabad–In the backdrop of the brutal campaign unleashed by Indian troops in Indian-held Kashmir, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is all set to deliver the all-important speech at the UN General Assembly on Wednesday.
According to reliable sources, Kashmir dispute will figure prominently in the Prime Minister’s speech in which he will not only highlight the atrocities being committed against the defenceless Kashmiri people by the Indian troops but will also remind the world community, especially the United Nations of its responsibility towards ending the long sufferings of the oppressed people.
Diplomatic sources say that the prime minister in his speech will also touch on the issue of Indian sabotage activities in Balochistan and other parts of Pakistan. In this regard, the evidences collected from Kulbushan Yadav during cross-examination will also be presented.
The sources said that dossiers about the Indian meddling and its intentions to fan anarchy and chaos in the strategically located province of Balochistan will be submitted before the United Nations.
During the last session of the UNGA, Maleeha Lodhi, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, had handed over dossiers to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
Diplomatic sources further revealed that during meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif shared the evidences collected from Kulbashan Yadav about Indian intelligence agency RAW’s involvement in subversive activities in Pakistan especially Balochistan.
Ahead of the UNGA session, tension between the two countries has assumed alarming proportion with India again resorting to barrage of allegations against Pakistan. Putting the blame of Uri attack on Pakistan, the Indian side, according to their own media, is contemplating serious action against the neighbouring country.
According to sources, such tactics on the part of India are not new and this time it is resorting to such policy to deflect world attention from its ongoing killing spree in occupied Kashmir. “Pakistan however is determined to forcefully raise the dispute of Kashmir at the world forum and it will keep up the momentum in the days ahead in order to sensitize the world about the evil and true face of India.
